Oni Joins The Fray
Even-more-badass version of Akuma gets VM treatment.

Capcom officially announced the Arcade Edition of Super Street Fighter IV this week, coming as both a premium DLC pack and as a retail version for the three people that have still yet to pick up their copies of the seminal brawler. As longtime readers may be aware, we’re more than a little bit partial to a bit of Street Fighter, so the addition of four new characters to an already swollen roster is a-ok with us. Yun and Yang, first introduced in Street Fighter III: New Generation, and Evil Ryu all join the fray. But it’s the addition of a new, souped-up, version of Akuma called Oni that has us most intrigued.
So, to commemorate the announcement, we revisited our Street Fighter Videogame Minimalism roster, elbowed a few characters out the way to make room, and then threw Oni into the mix. We hope you like him, and there are plans to (finally) finish off the entire set underfoot. PERFECT!
Check the Oni out on our Flickr page, where you you can also see the our Street Fighter VM set.
