Abstract Mortal Kombat

Minimality!!

infinitecontinues

The ‘Street Fighter – Abstract Edition’ artwork was meant to be a one-off piece, but such was the phenomenal response to it all over the internet, and the fascination with being able to recognise the characters, who could resist creating another, this time based on the almost-but-not-quite-as-famous Mortal Kombat? The exact same technique was used for this piece, bar a single (cheating!) detail, a little quirk that that just couldn’t be left out. Silly Raiden ;)

Huge thanks to all the sites that featured the Street Fighter – Abstract Edition piece, including GameInformer, Capcom Unity, Shoryuken, 4 Color Rebellion, GayGamer, GoNintendo, GameSetWatch, The Tanooki, That Videogame Blog, Geek Art, N4G, Examiner, GamesRadar, The High Definite, Loyal K.N.G., and DesignTaxi. If we’ve missed you off this list by accident, we apologise!

As always, you can check out our artwork over on the infinitecontinues Flickr Photostream, and purchase it as a t-shirt over at our MySoti store. Oh, and just to say thanks for spreading Street Fighter – Abstract Edition over the interwebs, we’ll be running a competition tomorrow for your chance to win both t-shirts: Street Fighter – Abstract Edition and Abstract Mortal Kombat. Follow us on Twitter to stay informed of that.
